El músico americano que llegara a la fama con su proyecto musical The White Stripes, se lanza como solista en 2012 al presentar el álbum debut estudio titulado Blunderbuss, diez años después sigue trayectoria en solitario lanzando dos álbumes más.

Con el nombre de Placebo Live es como llega este primer material en vivo de la agrupación británica formada en Londres durante 1994.
Es una que cuenta con vinilo doble del álbum en vivo Collapse Into Never: Placebo Live In Europe 2023, grabado en el Low Festival de España a principios del mismo año.
Discos que se acompañan con This Is What You Wanted, Blu-ray con concierto en vivo en la Ciudad de México en el verano del año 2023. También de Live From The White Room, un CD con temas de su álbum de estudio Never Let Me Go (2022) grabado en Twickenham, Londres.
