Un 09 de Marzo de 1987 la banda irlandesa U2 lanzaba su quinto álbum estudio The Joshua Tree, uno de sys trabajos más exitosos a lo largo de su trayectoria, tanto por el público como por la critica. Cumple 30 años en 2017 y lanzan esta edición especial box set, además de anunciar tour mundial que planean iniciar el 12.05.17.

El conjunto australiano King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard no para, después de haber lanzado en 2019 los álbumes Fishing for Fishies, su decimocuarto álbum estudio publicado en abril, y en agosto Infest the Rats’ Nest, su decimoquinto, anuncian a finales del 2020 ¡otros dos discos!
El primero es El líder de la banda, Stu Mackenzie, se refirió al material en un comunicado: “K.G. es una destilación pura del sonido King Gizzard, un sonido que selecciona los mejores aspectos de álbumes previos y los transforma en nuevas formas a través de rock desafiante”.

¿Tienen algún favorito? Sting ex líder y vocal de la banda The Police ha compartido el estreno de su 12o álbum de estudio solista que llevará por título 57th & 9th.
Ha declarado a diferentes medios que las muertes de David Bowie, Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), de su amigo Alan Rickman (actor y director británico) y Prince le inspiraron a realizar su nuevo material discográfico.
El nombre del disco es proveniente de la esquina de la calle de Manhattan donde Sting cruzaba todos los días mientras iba al estudio de grabación.
57th & 9th estará disponible física y digitalmente a partir del 11.11.16.

El dúo conocido como The Last Shadow Puppets formado en 2007, que tiene por integrantes a Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) y Miles Kane (ex-The Little Flames y ex-The Rascals), prepara material discográfico en 2016.
Hasta este momento el proyecto musical tiene dos álbumes de estudio, The Age of the Understatement del 2008 y Everything You’ve Come to Expect del 2016, sin embargo,
