La banda estadounidense de pop punk Blink-182 anuncia en 2016 el material discográfico titulado California, sucesor de Neighborhoods del 2011.
Aunque ya habían dado avances de este álbum su lanzamiento oficial fue fechado el 01.07.17.
Recordemos que Muchos podrán decir que se le cayó un tornillo pero bueno ¿quién podría decir que el vendado de los ojos no es él y sí nosotros? También llegó a declarar que podría regresar a la banda si así lo quisieran los demás integrantes.

Como constatamos durante el 2018 la banda inglesa Pink Floyd comenzó a actualizar su acervo en video, varias canciones de diferentes álbumes con sus videoclips oficiales, y otra actualización es para el tema Chapter 24.
La pieza pertenece a su álbum debut titulado The Piper at the Gates of Dawn del año 1967, siendo su track 08 u originalmente su track 03 del Side Two del icónico disco.

La banda experimental llamada Death Grips es un grupo formado en California en el año 2010. Su música puede ser descrita como una combinación de música industrial, hip-hop y noise.
Death Grips han lanzado recientemente su 6o álbum llamado Bottomless Pit. Algo interesante de esta banda es que regala sus discos aunque disqueras se han opuesto a ello.

En honor y tributo a Tom Petty, quien falleciera el 02.10.17, su esposa Dana y su hija Adria Petty, decidieron lanzar un box set con grabaciones inéditas, versiones alternativas, grabaciones en vivo, covers, rarezas, entre otras cosas del recodado músico.
La colección titulada An American Treasure, y el ex ingeniero de Tom, Ryan Ulyate.
